The owner was really friendly and try to give all the information that we need. He was also very kind because on Sunday the time had changed (sommer time) and we could have a late breakfast. The location was good and the room big for European standards. Also very clean and the breakfast full of variety. We loved it !

From the moment we stepped through the door,we felt that we were part of the family - and with excellent service . The breakfast buffet compared extremely favourably with those we have encountered in much grander places. The small restaurant had a wide choice of freshly cooked food. Our room was on the first floor, accessed by traditional steep stairs or by a lift - quite spacious and very clean with a very comfotable large bed. The location was ideal - a tram stop just across the road with frequent trams going to Central Staion (under 15 mins), to the Museum District and to the former Jewish District.

It was a low key, simple, neat and clean hotel which was close to everything via the tram stop out front. While I would have liked to have had more room, everything provided was as described. While I did not care much for dinner at the hotel, the included breakfast was above average. With one excption (and who knows it may have been me that night), staf was courteous and eager to be of assistance with hotel issues and directions and recommendations in the city. I have already booked my next stay.

Excellent staff (especially in the morning), nice breakfast buffet.Great location close to center and tram stop. Newly renovated rooms. Restaurant in hotel.
The rooms are small and lack a minibar. Also restaurant menu, information about wifi and use of safe was lacking in room.

The hotel is stylish, clean, atmospheric and within a walking distance to the whole city. The staff were very nice and helpful, and we were even treated to complimentary drinks and cheese on arrival. The hotel restaurant offers great quality pizzas and some other dishes at affordable prices. The room design was really nice, and the heating could be easily adjusted. The breakfast was very good, with toast, muesli, fruit, tasty croissants, different kinds of cheeses and cold cuts, plus some veggies and juice. The coffee americano was always made to order at breakfast. All in all, we'd come back if returning to Amsterdam one day.
Very minor things: the milk and yoghurt for breakfast should be kept at a colder temperature. Also the breakfast room felt a bit chilly in the mornings.

Although the hotel was out of the city centre, it was only a half block from the tram stop. This location was quieter than the city centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a two types of cold cereal, breads including croissants, cheeses, cold meats, boiled eggs, a hot egg dish, and a fruit bowl. The coffee was fabulous. Even though the breakfast buffet began at 7:00 am, we were given something to eat including the coffee when we left our last day at 6:00 am for the airport. The hotel itself was quiet and we never heard any other guests.
Because our room was warm, we left the windows open at night for the cool breeze. Unfortunately our room faced the street which was noisy all night with traffic sounds and pedestrians walking by; fortunately the tram stopped around midnight and did not start again until 6:00 am.

new facilities.
The price could be more cheaper if there is only one person occupancy for a double room.

Very friendly staff and great rooms with all comforts close to the city center.
No fridge in the room; check out your room; it can happen that your door is just inches from the elevator door.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee is particularly delicious. The hotel design and standing is great in a popular Amsterdam area.
The shower does not have pression at all.

The room was super clean, conveniently located near tram stations, and they offered free bottles of water daily. We loved the cozy vibe and the compact layout suited our needs perfectly.

Have stayed in many top and middle class hotels around the world this must be one of the best value for money hotels available . Breakfast excellent . Tram outside door seems to be less than 10 minutes to everywhere you want to see .

They have wheelchair accessible rooms with balcony, an excellent shower, for instance and care about everyone. The breakfast is generous and offers fresh fruit, croissants, fresh bread, cereals and cheese.
